Sunday Sermon

Not really. I’m not a preacher (but some call me the Chaplain of Caffeine) and I won’t stand up and deliver a sermon but I will share some thoughts about principles that are a foundation in my life.

This idea of working by referral is based on principles. It’s why it works like it does.

A principle is something that always works or something that does not change at the whim of the majority. I believe there are a few principles we can count on and I’ll give you a reference that we’ll expand on every Sunday for a while.

Galatians 6:7-10
Do not deceive yourselves; no one makes a fool of God. You will reap exactly what you plant. So let us not become tired of doing good; for if we do not give up, the time will come when we will reap the harvest. So then, as often as we have the chance, we should do good to everyone

Sometimes this is called the Law of the Harvest. What you plant is what you will get. Plant good deeds and they will come back to you. Plant bitterness and I believe it is what you will find. This idea of working by referral requires us to give more than we take. It’s a basis for an abundant life. I think we have to give our time, our attention and our resources for folks to trust us and trust is really the basis of a referral.

It’s why I know you can do this business by referral from the very start. I know you can unless no one trusts you today. If no one trusts you then you have bigger things to work on.

I think that’s enough to chew on for now. Like I said, this is not a sermon but really a thought and I’d love your feedback.

Thanks for listening,
