I am the king

Don’t get too excited about the headline. Like Charlie, “I am the king of excuses. I have one for every selfish thing I do.”

Listen to the song and you’ll understand better.

I love this song as it reminds me of the struggle we’re all in. We “generally relate to the glory and disappointment of being human” and the struggle to do our best.

The struggle to be all that we have the potential for. Do you have some unused, unrealized potential? We all feel that way but struggle with the failure to reach it. Struggle with the limitations of will power, motivation and desire. Sometimes we get tired but we all have the ability to get back up and try again.

If you’ve been in this business for a bit then you know what I mean. There is no one else telling you what to do, what time to get up, what to do next and sometimes the chaos of this business can feel overwhelming. On those days we need a bit of encouragement and perspective. My coach helps me with that and my wife does too.

If you struggle with it and don’t have anyone to talk to, call me.

I love this business and how I get to do it (most days). I’ve been at it for 16 years and have worked by referral from the beginning. I believe I can help you if you’re feeling overwhelmed.

One of the biggest challenges for us today is isolation. We work from home, work alone most times and don’t have anyone to ‘bounce’ things off of so we get down a path that turned out to be a dead end (or at least a big detour) and we just need to talk to someone.

I’ve been blessed with a coach, friends and colleagues who also work by referral and help me when my viewpoint gets skewed. We’ve all been there and I just want to give back if you need help.

If you work in a virtual brokerage or even a brick and mortar building but feel alone, call me.

I mean it. Call me. I’ll help all I can.
