I’ve heard that a lot lately. As I’ve made an effort to call more, I’ve heard those words more. Your people enjoy hearing from you. By “your people”, I’m talking about your database.
But they are aware you are in real estate sales and will likely ask you “how’s the market’. Everyone is curious and it’s good to have some general bit of data at your finger tips but you need to find out a bit more information.
When someone asks you “how’s the market” the response is always the same. You can say “it’s good, why do you ask”.
Now you can see if they are just curious or if the have a specific question, saving you both time. If they do, answer it, and if they don’t you can spead a bit on the general market conditions. Remain curious, ask questions and don’t try to talk to much.
“We have two ears and one mouth and we should use them proportionally.”
