Writing
Writing is the ‘doing’ part of thinking.

I value writing. I use Obsidian to take notes and maybe I’ll write about that soon but writing is becoming even more valuable as I get older. One of the bigger lies I tell myself is “I don’t need to write that down. I’ll remember it”.
I still journal with a notebook and fountain pen. That’s different than using a keyboard but the keyboard is also valuable. The pen gives me time and allows me to process but the keyboard provides organization, spell-checking, and searchability, and I can capture notes on multiple devices.
Maybe someday we can think something a have it written down but until then, writing is something we have to do to think.
